Description: The New Telecommunication Centre and
Antenna Tower (Liberation Tower) is the 5th highest Tower
in the world with facilities serving defense, National
Security, Broadcasting and National Telephone needs.
UNETEC was involved in the Supervision of Construction
of the project. The Supervision was interrupted due to the
invasion of Kuwait by Iraq in the year August 1990, but
continued after the Liberation of Kuwait, with the
assessment of damages to the project, issuance of new
tender documents, supervision of construction and
furnishings. |
